I think it was always, in reading and researching about Sigmund Freud Where, I think I had a found a breakthrough in, using a lot of The Freudian Method, to, develop my own interpretation and examination of this infamous psychoanalysis. And I think it was, in each, different interval and, gradual story development, that I had, started to write the character Madison, Dorsey from a psychologically jarring and lens that she’d her parents had developed Cognitive Formalism which was, which is basically a mathematical model for how thoughts form.
Sitting across from Dr. Elser, Madison Dorsey is to recall memories throughout her adolescence, particular her friends at school, and Mara, who used to go the ice skating rink reading Pride and Prejudice. And how that Madison Dorsey’s parents had noticed she seemed withdrawn from her own life, and would go to the bookstore, throughout most days of the week.
And whenever they called her house, they would say, that Madison Dorsey had been at the Reading Room, and through self exploration begins to, see her world unravel, after take pictures, of everything that surrounded her in order to stay grounded, with reality. While going to high School Madison Dorsey also, a copy of her science experiment book Theorem & Proof Quarterly where she reads about mathematical models, and formal analysis along with the Marshmallow experiment from the confines of her bedroom. And in addition, to making new discovers Madison continues to weave through them while keeping a roll of Polaroid film and an atlas notebook in her neo bag.

The story of Rosepulse began in December 2024, introducing audiences to an original narrative that would become the foundation for an expanding creative series. From those beginnings emerged Rosepulse Rewind, carrying the story forward through new voices, new perspectives, and an ever-growing world of culture, commentary, and imagination.
With each story, I spoke extensively about music, particularly pop songs from the past two decades. Throughout each episode of the series, I found myself reflecting on some of my favorite memories from the era of The Devil Wears Prada and Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen. Many of the artists who defined that period included KT Tunstall, Michelle Branch, and The Wreckers.
This music commentary focused primarily on The Wreckers, whose partnership embodied a distinctive sense of female empowerment. Through songs such as Cigarettes, Stand Still, Look Pretty, and other fan favorites, the duo paired heartfelt, powerful lyrics with rich vocal harmonies and memorable country-pop instrumentation, creating music that continues to resonate with

One film that left a lasting impression on me was Someone Like You. Looking back, I realize how much it influenced the way I viewed storytelling and character-driven cinema. Over the years, I found myself returning to the film, appreciating the many layers woven throughout its narrative. I would say that the whole thing, that I had found in and of what had become the single most, nerve wrenching, point in and of the ideal of, that had, started to seeth in me, every time I played, Just Dance by Lady Gaga, it was in those moments, and recanting of song lyrics, that I had began to, think in and of more of, that of what she sported, a two-tone, asymmetrical dress — The front was redesigned with a shorter, more refined silhouette that transitioned into an elongated back hem flowing gracefully toward the ankles. It echoed a recognizable style from earlier in her career, while the overall aesthetic embraced soft pastel tones and shimmering metallic elements that added both elegance and theatrical flair.

For this week’s The Ultimate Guide to Entertainment, Culture & Creative Trends I think was looking at my old podcast archives, ones that I would say, I began to, look at, and then listen it was actually around 2024, when I first began reviewing music, and where, this had been in looking at also trends in fashion, and including old songs, and news, I was surprised to hear. with Vanessa Carlton, I had, actually Podcast & Listen, I review some really cool music. I remember back in 2024 listening to House of Seven Cards by Vanessa Carlton from Carlton’s fifth studio album, Liberman Live. In my podcast Rosepulse in the Beginning, I I talk alot about the Liberman Live singer, and where, I think her music is one, that had, reminded me of some of the amazing things, I enjoyed most about cinema, and books and film throughout the decades. I think correlate my love of film, to, so many movies, even Disney Confessions Of A Teenage Drama Queen.
I think Matilda for instance, particular, is one nostalgic film that I admired the most, as a young girl and that I had, admired much of the acting, and from stars like Mara Wilson and Danny Devito.]
In 2013, Lady Gaga opened the MTV Video Music Awards with a performance of “Applause” that was more than a comeback—or any other, artistic display of, vocalizing in the aftermath, a singularly, compelling message about pop culture, one that hit home on the, helm of Identity, candidness, and authenticity as we know it. Though only touting it a masterclass VMA performance by Gaga, would perhaps be exclusionary of Gaga’s own theatrical reinvention and moving performance piece. Some, Art pop enthusiasts, and fans, would call it, a rapid succession of personas, costumes, and visual motifs, one that consists of Gaga rectifying the boundaries between a manifesting, of performer and a self-determined woman one who is in control and who embodies, non conformist Boundary-pusher and No traditionalist trailblazer.

I think that taking up a new hobby became one of the biggest and most meaningful endeavors I had ever begun. Looking back on it now, dance was never simply a way to fill my time; it became a way to immerse myself in the elements of contemporary dance and ballet, and to better understand both movement and expression. Gaga’s ARTPOP era became one of the most significant subjects I explored within a much broader personal journey—one deeply intertwined with my struggle against mental illness, particularly bipolar disorder and manic depression. Its themes of chaos, vulnerability, fame, and self-expression resonated with me in ways that felt intensely personal, reflecting emotions and experiences I was battling internally at the time.
Through every step of the process, I realized that my sense of style and self-expression felt somewhat muddled and uncertain. At times, it was difficult to fully lose myself in the dance once the music began. Yet eventually, I found that the most important choice was simply to be myself — to stop overthinking, to let go, and to allow the music to guide me naturally wherever it wanted to take me.

I think I had, began to, write very, sporadically throughout several years, when it came to freelancing and also, in usually going back to a project, I had started, like a short story, called Noticing You, one that seemed interesting to me. And where, there were many ways, to revise, and incorporate new ideas, I think that, it was a story. I remember writing at around midnight watching a special and documentary on Halston, I remember, I had, somehow managed to write, in fragments it seemed the basis, of somewhat of the villains, and or civilians two characters man and Clementine had crept themselves back in the story
And feeling as though where humanity seems to have, fallen to an all time low. The Boston Paper, touts all of the city a Criminal safe haven — and Center of criminality to say the 9 to five and idea like just fantasy life, where, being overworked, and zonked become the overall, centerpiece and psychological implication. The whole Emotional fervency where such rhetoric, through the sort of, dialogue between man, and woman, both struggling writers, whose torrential lives, are strung from a, pop cultural perspective, and the idea of the cop heads, Andy Warhol, Interview magazine and how the cops seemed to be watching everybody including the androgynous Chinese lady who lives on the fourth floor.

I think I found, so much, in writing, about many of my own mental health issues this year, I tried to put down everything that, I could and, to, talk about and discuss in my podcasts, Confessions of A Freud Girl: Unfinished Therapy.
And some of what, had actually changed my own, form of thinking, and, opinion. I think when I started three years ago to curate, everything, that I had discovered in helping me write this particular story, I didn’t actually think that therapy could lead to many positive results. Though now I see, that ever since, 2013, when I had, actually experienced my own mental health crisis, and, dealt with bipolar, disorder I had, began to, chronicle my personal journey through this and understand better, why I had thought that in the first place. I had, thought would be in, actually delving deeper and talking alot more about, some of my own, hangups, and also, setbacks.

One of the most memorable aspects of The Devil Wears Prada I would say as fashion editor, and writer, I thought what was especially exciting to, see, this film portrayal of the fashion industry, but also its depiction of personal transformation set against the backdrop of New York City. Early in the film, many first time viewers of this flick gives you a small dose of Rom -Com while witnessing Andy Sachs and Nate navigating the city’s streets together, holding hands and embracing a version of life that feels grounded, familiar, and largely disconnected from the dark part and end of the movie, where Andy Sachs and Miranda Priestely are in a limo the elite fashion world that Andy is gradually entering.
I thought each scene, had been more about the kind of, differential and reverberated distance, though also in the trick of the filmmaking and cinematography captured this actually interpersonal moment between Andy Sachs and Nate, seemed one, more into wondering if it, had been about growing out of what, had been, of, actually, been the kind of parentally guided place though without so much as flair that you would put into a promotion at work, Nigel whose says On career and ambition: “Let me know when your whole life goes up in smoke. Means it’s time for a promotion.”
han more about, that actually made you remember the, significance of this film, and had been what evidently, separates Andy and Nate, from each other, and where, it shows, the kind of unfolding, amid, extraordinary, circumstances, that evidently changed their lives completely.
I think Devil Wears Prada. These scenes capture a sense of intimacy and authenticity, through gradually the film continually depicts more and more of the not as a glamorous runway but as a place where ordinary lives unfold amid extraordinary opportunities.
As the narrative progresses, however, the city itself begins to change alongside Andy. The streets become less about comfort and more about ambition, aspiration, and reinvention. This transition is perfectly encapsulated in the film’smakeover sequence, accompanied by Madonna’s iconic hit Vogue. Although released in 1990, the song remains one of the defining cultural anthems of fashion, celebrity, and self-invention. Its presence in the film elevates the montage beyond a simple wardrobe transformation, turning it into a statement about identity and the allure of becoming someone new.

Over the past several months, I have been developing a number of exciting creative projects. Among them is a promotional campaign and video montage for my new podcast series, Confessions of a Freud Girl: Unfinished Therapy.

I think one, thing I would say that also had drawn me to Fashion, not just being a fashion writer, but, also, getting to read about the inside stories that encapsulated the world of many fashion editors ones who were able to channel, various preconceptions about the different fashion seasons, and also, where this is in, wear certain styles, can be accentuated with a look or added, effect, something as, unique, and inspiring, as seeing a runway show filled with, big cutting edge, fairy tale inspired themed coats.
It seems somewhat exaggerated, yet it highlights something truly essential—even in the simple act of wearing clothes. This may be where your personal sense of style diverges from what you initially expect, revealing a more authentic expression of yourself.

I think it was in revisiting one particular movie, that had influenced my own ability to look at drama in with it from cinematic point of view, and where Someone like you gives you that kind of sense that, I had, thought about in some instances, where, it seemed, that one of the hardest jobs in the world was being a production assistant like Jane Goodall, and that this had seemed most significant a notion throughout several points of the film in where, had showed great resolve, and fortitude in with the demands of her profession which we see now can be quite monumental in understanding the, work sphere in today’s ‘s fast-paced professional landscape and career-focused society
I think that revisiting one particular film influenced my ability to view drama from a more cinematic perspective. Someone Like You conveys a sense of determination that resonated with me, particularly through its portrayal of Jane Goodale as a production assistant. Watching her navigate the demands of her profession made me realize how challenging that role could be.

Digital Romance in 2026: Opportunities and Challenges in Dating Apps
I think dating in 2026 resembles a world of endless possibilities—one where dating apps continue to thrive and never seem to go out of style. It’s a landscape where you can potentially match with someone through personalized filters, shared interests, and even compatibility percentages designed to connect people with meaningful potential. “I discovered what might be the single most important aspect, even though I was initially skeptical. After reading several articles, it became clear that creating a strong profile is key—especially using high-quality photos. These should include a clear close-up, a full-body shot, and additional images that highlight different aspects of your personality and lifestyle.”
Fall 2023 My first real goal was to get a job and get hired remotely. In between waiting to hear back from employers I began to work as a freelance photographer, and started to take pictures, and then submit them to fashion magazines regularly.
September of 2023 I think the biggest obstacle was, for me professionally, was actually hearing back from employers, and that sometimes it took up to several weeks. I had began to go to school online, and also, where, after I had taken several online courses, in critical thinking, Explorations in Literature, and Warrior Seminar, and that, this had, been while I continued to look for remote work.

Fall 2023 I then, began to, continue to work as a freelancer, and doing small jobs alone, and that, I had, eventually began to see results that were a bit confusing and where, I thought I had come up with very few job offers.
I think it was around, July 2024 in setting goals, that had, given me, a sense of where, I could try to hone my skills, and then master them and then work in and what, I had, been able to achieve in a short amount of time.
In August of 2024 that was when I decided to change my profession, while going to school, and working on the side as a freelance photographer, and this was where, I had used photographer as a benchmark to build my dreams, and set new goals for myself after a period of time.
I remember my first publication in a magazine, and that I had found where, the overall result in my opinion despite not making a lot of money, was pretty much worth it, getting on the cover of a magazine of Untold magazine.
I think the most difficult part of trying to, show editors, that I was worth publishing, even though I thought the thing they looked at the most was both if you earned a college degree I.e. bachelors, or that you’d had at least 3 years of work experience in the same field.
After being published in Mob Journal this year, I think I had, began to, actually find, how far, I had come in the beginning since, after trying to find remote work, and also, using my own business skills ones, Over time— with sending cover letters, revised resumes, and also, even samples, particularly between August 2023 and June 2024.
And while searching for remote work opportunities online—I began to consider creating a small photography brand of my own, which I envisioned calling Bardot Photography through my website CreativeOJean.com.
I think I had began to first build my own business, and professional profile on Fashion Mingle, and that this, had helped discover new opportunities, and to network, and make business connections.
I did hear back from a few volunteer and internship opportunities, and that I think in, finally getting a response, from an employer named Victoria Roberts in May 2024, and after earning visibility, I had found that after several months, I had thought about how being a backstage assistant had seemed interesting to me.
I think in October of 2024 where, it was in many putting all of my creative skills to the test, and that, I wrote a single short story, and that, after several months of revising, and editing, I finally saw, it not only as a piece of writing, but also, a kind of, writing repository and evolving space, where I could go back and revisit old ideas, and shape them over time. And also, where, I could use it as some sort of, blank white board for new ideas and projects. My latest project I have coming up is Confessions of A Freud Girl: Unfinished Therapy
I thought my first rejection, really hit me hard, I felt almost like I put in so much effort and that, it seemed like all of my hard work, It didn’t pay off—or at least, that’s how I saw it. Instead, I took it as a sign to pause, step back, and recharge before beginning something new.
I think it is, in freelancing, that, I had, began to, see, where I could advance my professional life, and also, where I can create new opportunities for myself, and that, I had intended to keep freelancing.
I think with this particular occupation it seemed, that I needed to do a little more research, and I needed to, actually work 3x times harder, than I expected to, I think it was, often times, where, I read, numerous articles, and also found valuable information on the web, that helped, in navigating, my own work as a freelancer, and also, a content creator as well.
think I had often anticipated mediocre or less-than-stellar results in many areas of my life. At the same time, I realized that my interests extended far beyond simply being a content creator. I was also drawn to remote work and the flexibility and independence that came with it.
When I discovered that becoming a content creator was far more challenging than I had originally expected, I began developing my own small career plan. I could already envision a trajectory for myself—one that had the potential to grow steadily over time and evolve into something meaningful.

“Cosmic Choreography: Finding Fluid Grace Between Sound and Self”
I think that when I first considered learning to dance and developing a new hobby, I would often listen to my playlists, especially Cosmic Love by Florence and the Machine. I remember dancing to the song over and over—perhaps two or four times in a row—trying to interpret the lyrics through movement. Somehow, the words seemed to guide me, allowing me to move with a fluidity and poetic grace I had never felt before.

Those sessions became personal benchmarks, helping me measure my growth and inspiring me to become a more confident and expressive dancer.
For the first time, I realized I could rely on my own artistic creativity rather than a technical background in dance. Instead of focusing on precision or formal training, I was able to become expressive and performative through the emotion and imagery of the lyrics themselves.

I began to explore lyrical dance through Dancing Barefoot by Patti Smith, discovering an ability within myself to move and adapt to the music—its rhythm, its pulse, its raw, expressive style. With each motion, I felt more in tune with the percussion and emotion, as if my body instinctively understood how to translate sound into movement.
